EMC Support Specialist
I am currently recruiting for a Support Specialist, this will be based in the head office in the centre of Basingstoke. The company has been established now for over 60 years, and is continuing to grow in an organic fashion. They are a reputable global supplier, working with both hardware and software integrated solutions.
***What the Support Specialist will do***
+ Provide 24/7, third line technical support for the ECM Software suite
+ Document all pertinent end user identification information, including name, company, contact information and nature of problem or issue.
+ Field incoming help requests from end users and internal staff via telephone and email in a courteous manner (this may include out of hours support calls
+ Record, track and document each step of the problem-solving process on a centrally based call logging system
+ Access software updates, drivers, knowledge bases and frequently asked questions to aid in problem resolution
+ Manage internal release management of software releases (including licensing), apprising customers and internal staff of changes and upcoming developments in the ECM software applications
***What the Support Specialist will need***
+ Extensive experience working in Microsoft environment – MCITP/MCSA/MCSE preferable
+ Solid understanding of IIS
+ Previous experience with SQL/Oracle and some SQL scripting would be a bonus
+ Unix, Linux, VMWare & Citrix knowledge beneficial
