C#/Asp.Net Web Developer

My client, Head Quartered in Peterborough but with offices across the UK, is a leading publisher which has been prospering since 1988.

As part of their plans for the future, they are increasingly looking at the use of technology to further bring the publishing industry into the 21st century. Owing to this continued ambition they are actively seeking a Web Developer.

The Job

Working as part of a small close-knit team, the successful candidate will work on maintaining and enhancing the exisiting websites and applications alongside contributing to the brand new application/website development. The role carries a good blend of brownfield and greenfield development and promises to be diverse and challenging in a positve, harmonious and pleasant work envionment.

From a tech point of view, this can be termed a full-stack development role. The cient accept that there will be a period of training and transition for the successful candidate and efforts will be made to ensrue that skills and potential are harnessed.

In terms of the requirements, candidates with as much knowledge in the following technologies as possible will be considered. Please note, training will be given where necessary so not all skills mentioned are mandatory.


Key Tech Stack: ASP.Net MVC; C#; SQL Server; HTML; JavaScript; CSS

Desirable Skills: Entity Framework; Source Control (TFS); User Experience (UX) testing; Experience of working in an Agile environment
