I am looking for a Computational Biologist, this person will be based in a state-of-the-art facility in Oxford. They will be working in the computational biology group as part of the team responsible for developing, testing and maintaining data analysis workflows used both internally and customers of the next-generation sequencing products business.
The main responsibilities will include developing new analysis workflows/pipelines by writing clean code, coupled with clear documentation and rigorous testing that are used internally and integrated within the Computational Biology NGS software product range.
The Data Analysis team also liaises directly with customers and other stakeholders to answer any analytical questions and related support, so strong written and verbal communication skills are essential.
