As a result of continued demand, my client, a global company with a development team in Abingdon, Oxford, are actively seeking a Software Developer.

Company Overview

A pioneering Environmental consultancy, they have enjoyed tremendous success over the years and are the Go to People when it comes to consulting with Public and Private sector bodies on the environmental impact of factors such as City expansion.

The Software Development team provide specialist software solutions to these global clients using a variety of technologies.

Role Overview

This role will be working on the development and enhancement of systems in Web/Forms and Mobile platforms. These include Modelling, Surveying, Data Collection, Asset Management and GIS software applications.

With Involvement in the entire software development lifecycle this role offers a great opportunity to progress your technical skillset in a variety of technologies.

Some of the skills you can expect to learn and use:

- C# and .Net Framework
- Asp.Net MVC
- JavaScript and JQuery
- HTML, CSS and Bootstrap
- TSQL for MS SQL Server
- Entity Framework
- MS Azure
- Source Control with Azure DevOps/TFS
- XAML and Xamaran

Please note that hit the ground running proficiency is not expected in all of the above. It is anticipated that the successful will require training in certain areas. The most important quality is a can do attitude toward learning.
