Job Overview

Working as a lead developer, the successful candidate will take on the responsibility for the successful design, development and implementation of new modules for an elite and market leading, enterprise cash management suite.

Experience/Knowledge Sought

First and foremost, enthusiasm and motivation are sought.

As a Lead developer, a big part of the role is the ability to lead the team in new innovations and ways of working. For example, the development team are in the process of moving into an Azure DevOps, TDD way of working. As such, candidates who have been part of a similar process before, or perhaps have played with such methods/tech in their own time, are highly attractive.

This is a role with much responsibility and will suit a developer who enjoys combining hands-on coding with helping guide a development team (along with other senior people) in the newer ways of software development.

The core technical competencies sought are:

• VSTS (Visual Studio Team Server) with C# / Asp.Net MVC
• Azure Dev Ops - not a must have but very beneficial.
• Test driven development
• Unit testing
• Performance checking and debugging
• Test environments and deployment

Other facets of the job include:

- Liaising with pre-sales, implementation and support team members
