As a result of continued ambition and expansion, a leading Fintech company with a Global presence are seeking a C# Developer to work on exciting enterprise applications.
Working as part of an Agile development team, the successful candidate will be given training, mentoring and guidance and support in the initial phase. The aim is to be a productive member of the development team making contributions to the main software product; including Web and Interface development.
First and foremost enthusiasm and motivation are sought.
They arent expecting hit the ground running knowledge in every single area - they are open to taking on the right junior-level person. The company can provide an excellent training programme to nurture talent. Indeed, the non-technical criteria are as important as they are keen on finding good people in the truest sense of the term.
In terms of the technology stack, the development team are predominantly using the Microsoft Technology Stack. As such, candidates with any knowledge in C#, Asp.Net (MVC), and SQL Server will be very attractive.
It is considered beneficial if candidates have had exposure/knowledge in areas such as: VSTS, Azure, TDD, WCF, Jira, XML and SOAP. (Though training will be given in such areas)
Working as part of an Agile Scrum team and after a training period, the successful candidate will be designing and developing new modules for a best-in-class enteprise application. At its core this is a hands-on development role and will suit people who get their kicks out of creating good, clean code in a friendly, Agile environment.
Other facets of the job include:
- 1 hour every Tuesday and 1 hour every Thursday for self-learning and development online
- Liaising with pre-sales, implementation and support team members
- Providing task estimation to the development team leader and accurate progress reports to the development team leader
- Supporting team members, sharing best practices and collaborating with colleagues
Future projects will be more cloud-based. As such candidates with experience in Azure DevOps and pipeline would be considered attractive.
