Senior Analyst Programmer

As a result of expansion and demand my client based in Cheadle are actively seeking a Senior Analyst Programmer.

The Job

The successful candidate will be Joining the LIMS (Laboratory Information Management Systems) team. The over-arching goal of the LIMS team is to provide development and support to the organisations projects/services by implementation and configuration of laboratory information management systems.

The successful candidate will have:

- Ideally a degree in engineering, computing or science related disciplines
- Solid programming experience (in as many of the following!) C#.NET, WPF, ASP.NET, WCF, MVC, Web API
- Strong relational database knowledge, preferably gained with Oracle
- Excellent analytical and problem solving capabilities
- Ability to work accurately and efficiently whilst unsupervised
- Experience of the full software development lifecycle
- An ability to interact effectively with non-technical persons


It would be an advantage if you had:

- Knowledge of Test Driven Development gained with NUnit / MSTest
- Experience of Source Control tools (e.g. SVN)
- Experience configuring and setting up a LIMS system
- Experience in IIS configuration and administration
- Experience of laboratory processes and procedures
- Acted as a technical lead
- Line Management experience

The Package
