Summary:

The Quality Assurance Analyst is responsible for the implementation and execution aspects of system and software test, including test design, scripting, documentation, test execution, defect analysis and report. Must have some experience in test automation.

Responsibilities:

• Analyzes complex requirements and execute appropriate test strategy and test cases.
• Execute test cases
• Contribute into test automation development and execution
• Contribute to project planning, estimation and project tracking.
• Manage the test environment.
• Share the knowledge with other testers on areas of expertise.
• Assists in the development and implementation of Quality Assurance policies and procedures.

Competency Requirements:

• Competent in software troubleshooting, tests and general work planning and time management.
• Competent in development of test documentation
• Competent in performing tests
• Competent in recording, reporting, and tracking defects to accurately depict the status of the system
• Competent in the development and execution of test automation (Squish is being used but experience in this isn’t necessary as training will be provided)
• Competent in multi platform environment
• Competent at least in one of the scripting languages (Python, Perl, XML)

The successful candidate can expect a starting salary in the range of £30k - £40k depending on experience.
