There are opportunities for career advancement within this thriving, award-winning professional organisation. They are currently looking for a C# developer with between 2-10 years experience who has experience of working in the data-access and application layer in particular. Querying data ranges from pure hand coded SQL through to database first entity on the newer versions; with this in mind candidates need to have strong SQL skills. Broadly candidates should have the following; + 2-10 years C# experience + Particular experience in the data-access and application layer + Very strong SQL and T-SQL skills plus the ability to tune your own queries manually or via management studio. + The client do not have a SQL DBA so the ability to look after your own SQL Server instances is required (creating dbs, tables, triggers, indexes, stats, jobs etc) + Experience also of using entity framework with a database first approach would be useful. + Data is accessed broadly through REST and WebAPI. WCF is not currently used however this might be something of interest to the client as time goes by. Salaries for the position are broadly up to the £20-45k.
