    Technical Manager -Horticulture- Home Based- Circa £40k My client of one of the leading developers and suppliers of fertilizers, plant protection products and growing media in the UK and Europe. With their main offices based in Dumfriesshire, they are looking to take on an experienced Technical Manager, who will be home based. Reporting to the operational manager you will be technically responsible for managing and developing all aspects of the businesses growing media range, including the set-up of new products, technical specification and approval of raw materials. You will also be managing the quality complaints procedure and liaising with production to aid quality standards. This role is both Office and field based, with the expectation you will spend at least two days a week at the Dumfriesshire branch, one day a month at the Ipswich branch. The remaining time will be dedicated to building/ maintaining relationships with growers, distributors and manufacturing, purchasing and quality personnel. You will be- MSc/ PhD Qualified in Relevant Sciences, (Chemistry, Biology, Horticultural , Plant sciences, Agronomy, Agriculture etc.).
