Working as part of the Discovery team you will be responsible for advancing early stage drug discovery projects from concept to molecule and for delivering peptides and reagents to the Discovery Biology team to help drive Structure Activity Relationship studies. The role will involve close interaction with both the Biology and Chemistry teams to organise and schedule project activities and to review data and progress. Key Responsibilities: • Preparation, synthesis and modification of peptides and bicyclic Bicycles. • Analysis of peptides using a variety of analytical approaches including mass spectrometry, LC-MS and other standard analytical approaches. • Entry of peptides into databases and repositories, ensuring accurate record keeping and adhering to standard operating procedures. • A range of basic lab procedures to support wet chemistry.
