  • Interim Validation Specialist

They are currently hiring for an interim Validation Specialist who will be required to support multiple validation projects, liaising with the project teams and associated departments relating to validation objectives. The role is responsible for authoring, executing and reporting validation activities. Attending and participating in design meetings is also a plus to this role. You will be responsible for: Creating innovative concepts to address the technical needs of new products- Conducting design feasibility studies; detailing assumptions, calculations, analysis, results and conclusions in technical reports to guide product development. Designing and developing new product concepts including system level evaluation through to detailed calculation, design, testing and analysis. Supporting and trouble-shooting the introduction of new products into pilot production. On site there is extensive provision for rapid functional prototyping and testing. Their mechanical workshop includes mill, lathe, high resolution multi-material 3D printer, pick & place and dispenser robots, a polymer laser welder and CO2 laser cutter and their development lab, includes the latest instrumentation for imaging, sensing, data logging, and running automation systems. You Will have: A strong background in Engineering or Physics with extensive experience in precision, high tech, medical or engineering roles with responsibility for new product technical development. It would be desirable if the successful candidate also had experience with injection moulding, fluid dynamics, polymers and joining technologies.
