Role Overview Joining a small, Agile team (3 developers and 3 testers) the successful candidate will be contributing to brand new product development which a focus on SOA. This will be a challenging and diverse role which will have shades of manual and automation testing. The crux of the job is working with different stakeholders to gather and analyse requirements, helping to create user stories, then build test plans, cases and execute them. The type of testing will be split between manual and automation. The automation side of things is based around Selenium Web Driver written in Java. Person Overview This role will appeal to a Tester seeking a new challenge in a fast-paced, innovation-centric environment. In terms of the type of person, the job would be well suited to either a junior level automation tester or an experienced manual tester looking to learn automation. Qualifications/Experience Sought Traditional qualifications such as ISEB and ISTQB are not mandatory. However, it would be useful if candidates had such qualifications. Outside of this, candidates from a regulated industry (finance, banking, NHS for example) typically do well, as whilst this role isnt that heavy on documentation, candidates who have experience of working in a regulated environment typically do well.
