    Software Implementation Consultant - SQL and ERP finance P2P London – with travel so must be mobile (though some remote work is fine) Overview Our Client is a fast growing software business, backed by venture capital investment and provides a totally unique business proposition that demonstrably reduces costs and increases the productivity of their clients. To support planned growth, they are now looking to recruit a software implementation consultant based in London but to cover Customers in the whole of the UK Key Responsibilities Although the role will vary from time to time, the key areas of responsibility for our implementation consultants are as follows: - Undertaking projects to implement web based Purchasing and E-invoicing software - Carrying out onsite workshops with small and large groups of key stakeholders to understand requirements and gather key configuration data - Installing and configuring our web based software either in the cloud or on premise - Managing of the project from initial sales handover to Go Live with multi-step tasks - Carrying out training of our application to end users and super users - Interacting with Middle Level and Senior Managers across various clients - Working to tight deadlines The software system is a highly configurable and powerful P2P system with lots of supporting modules varying from Housing Management, Timesheets, Employee Expenses and E-Invoicing. Therefore, the people who work with them need exceptional levels of technical and application skills as well as the ability to hold a room and present the best that Our Client has to offer. The ability to learn fast along with the ability to work under pressure and manage high workloads is a must. This person also needs to easily adapt to a constantly changing environment. The ideal candidate will have many years in delivering or supporting accounting software or web based procurement products on behalf of a software manufacturer like Our Client at a major UK accounting software reseller (although not essential). Experience of dealing with high volumes of projects and working alone whilst under pressure is essential. A Technical background in MS SQL Server, Web Applications is required. The ideal candidate must be able to demonstrate that they have the capabilities to represent Our Client in all areas of a software implementation including customer relationship building, maintenance, training etc As an implementation consultant you will handle 50% of our projects onsite at our customers location and 50% will be remote work; therefore there is an expectation for varying amounts of travel within the UK. Knowledge Skills Required: MS SQL Server, Basic Accounting Knowledge of Purchasing Processes and Basic Accounting Double Entry, Software Application implementation/support experience. Excellent Telephone Manner and Confident Approach to any scenario along with Excellent time management. Excellent project management skills.
