An exciting opportunity for an experienced CEO has become available. This position will be responsible for the management of all company activities including R&D, production, sales and marketing. You will be working very closely with company board of directors and stakeholders and will be expected to oversee the day to day running of the company and GMP facility. Due to expansion they are currently looking for an experienced and driven Food Scientist. This role will be to support the company’s manufacturing sites in their evaluation and subsequent management of, food safety legal risk as a result of microbiological / analytical testing. You will be responsible for supporting the company microbiologist in leading the application of food testing across the business, delivering cost benefit, Championing raw material risk assessment processes to prevent introduction of food safety risks; whilst, supporting new product development. Candidates should have the following skills; + A BSc or equivalent in food sciences, microbiology, chemistry or another relevant subject. + Experience in food manufacturing + People management experience Salaries for the role are expected to be in the 55-60k range dependent on experience.

My client now seeks someone to take on the mantle of Ingredients Research Team Leader within the Production and Processing Research (PPR) Department. The Role Acting as the Ingredients Research Team Leader, you will be required to oversee, plan, resource and execute a range of applied trials relating to ingredients research. This will involve securing and management of work through internal facilities and personnel line management as well as coordinating workflow with external contractors and collaborators.
